This 1968 Chevelle Malibu hardtop has been fully restored to a Chevelle SS396 Tribute with a frame-off restoration completed in 2012. It features a Silver two-stage respray with SS396 accents, excellent chrome, and 15”x8” SS rally wheels with new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The black vinyl interior has been meticulously restored, including bucket seats, a 3-spoke GM ‘wood’ wheel, JVC AM/FM/CD sound system, and a Hurst Comp+ shifter. Under the hood, it is powered by a 396ci big-block engine built by MEM Race Engines, delivering 507hp and 474lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, a high-performance clutch, and a 12-bolt posi-traction differential with 3.42:1 gears. The chassis is equipped with power steering, power disc brakes, and refurbished suspension components for an exceptional driving experience.
